How to Use Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster:

• Start by pressing the release switch to remove the Roasting Chamber.
• Pour approx 50-250g of coffee into the chamber, or just fill to the line on the chamber. 
• Plug into a power supply. Ensure to use it on circuit unused by other appliances as it draws higher power.
• Recommended to set the temperature control to 440-470F and the timer to 15-22 minutes. The owner's manual also includes a very informative roasting guide.
• Press the Start/Stop button and watch closely as the roast develops. When the beans reach desired roast level, press the Start/Stop button again.
• Once the cool cycle is over, remove the chaff collector, unscrew, and throw the chaff out.

Care and Use:

• Never expose the roaster to direct sunlight or other heating sources.
• Do not immerse the roaster in water or allow any water or cleaning liquids to enter.
• Avoid operating near flammable substances such as oil, alcohol, benzene, gasoline or paint thinner.
• Clean the chamber regularly as the residual debris from roasting will adversely affect the taste. Use a dish washing brush, sponge and dishwashing liquid.
